The Quality Assurance Technician is responsible for ensuring supplied material and product quality conforms to documented specification and requirements from receipt of raw materials to finished product for final release. In addition, the Quality Assurance Technician will interact daily with production, shipping/receiving, and other departments to ensure established controls for product quality are maintained.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to**:

- Incoming inspection of raw materials and components.
- Conduct and document quality inspections of in process and finished goods to ensure quality conforms to specified requirements using measurement devices such as calipers, micrometers, CMM, etc.
- Maintains control and disposition of materials, components and finished goods.
- Verification of records for completeness before final release.
- Initiate and follow up of Nonconformance as required
- Verification of operator in-process checks
- Assist with material movement as relates to non-conforming product.
- Special Projects as directed by quality management.
- Ability to work in a high-paced environment on multiple projects simultaneously (multi-task) while maintaining high-levels of physical activity.
- Maintains a clean work environment to eliminate potential product contamination.

- Quality Assurance or Quality Control experience in manufacturing,
- Exposure or basic knowledge of current quality principles and techniques.
3. Possess basic math skills and be familiar with the metric system.
