**Job Summary**:
The Operational Controller will be responsible for overseeing the efficiency, productivity, and controls in place to drive quality performance of assigned business units, while providing financial and operational reporting to executive management to ensure the strategic objectives of the business are being met.

**Responsibilities**:

- Evaluating operational procedures and developing recommendations for new or revised methods to improve processes and automation, implementing effective solutions
- Developing and maintaining financial control systems
- Establishing reporting metrics dashboard to provide status of monthly client deliverables
- Providing team with workload allocation and prioritization
- Providing financial analysis and evaluation to support decision-making (e.g. team staffing)
- Providing management with short
- and long-term financial objectives and policies for assigned business units
- Advising business units on and assisting with implementation of accounting and budgeting policies
- Fostering development of team members

**Required Skills/Abilities**:

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Highly analytical problem solving skills
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Extremely proficient in Microsoft Excel

**Education and Experience**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
- 5+ years of Management/Supervisory Experience
- Property Tax Experience a plus

**Physical Requirements**:

- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
