Role Description

This is a part-time, on-site role for a News Editor. The News Editor will be Monday-Friday 9am-12pm. The News Editor will be responsible for editing news for broadcast while accurately and fairly representing the news. Recording raw video and audio, and create a finished product. Possible opportunity for camera op on field shoots. Qualifications
- 3 years editing experience (Premiere Pro preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and editorial accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Experience in television production
- Camera Op experience
- Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, or related field

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week

Schedule:

- 4 hour shift

Ability to Relocate:

- Nutley, NJ 07110: Relocate before starting work (preferred)
