Grain Elevator Operations

Responsibilities:

- Operate equipment such as grain elevators, conveyors, and loaders to transfer grain to and from storage facilities
- Monitor and control equipment to ensure proper operation and prevent equipment malfunctions or breakdowns
- Assist in performing routine maintenance on equipment to keep it in good working condition
- Inspect grain for quality
- Load and unload trucks, railcars, and containers using appropriate equipment
- Be able to work out side in hot or cold conditions
- Ability to do maintenance (bearing greasing and troubleshooting)

Qualifications:

- Experience operating equipment, (skid steer)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Basic mechanical skills and knowledge with the ability to trouble shoot problems
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects as needed

Hours: 7am - 4pm Monday - Friday

Overtime hours and one weekend day during harvest: October November

We will train.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
