The CADD Technician will possess a strong background in drafting and design, with proficiency in using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software, particularly Civil 3D and MicroStation, and experience with ProjectWise and other cloud or similar file sharing software. The CADD Technician is responsible and accountable for preparing drawings used in civil engineering projects such as highways, bridges, pipelines, flood control projects, and water and sewerage control systems.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Utilize Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software, to create detailed technical drawings, plans, and schematics.
- Work closely with engineers and other professionals to understand project requirements and translate design concepts into technical drawings.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure accurate and timely delivery of drawings.
- Update and revise existing drawings based on feedback, changes in design, or project requirements.
- Review and verify the accuracy and completeness of drawings, ensuring all dimensions, annotations, and symbols are correct.
- Organize and manage drawings efficiently, following established document control procedures.
- Produce specifications and drawings that are centered on written instructions, calculations and equations provided by engineers and designers.
- All other duties as assigned.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Advanced proficiency in one or more of the following - AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation v8i, Bentley Connect, plus familiarity with Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office products.
- Ability to decipher construction plans.
- Knowledge of manually drafting drawing plans when necessary.
- Knowledge of CAD Standards for New York (city and state) agencies a plus.
- Ability to visualize finished products as well as projects.
- Extremely organized and detailed oriented, with the ability to maintain accuracy while handling multiple requests in a growing company environment.
- Keen eye for detail and accuracy, ensuring that all technical drawings meet the required standards and regulations.
- Knowledge of AEC terminology.

**EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE**

High School Diploma is required. AutoCAD design with minimum of three (3) years related experience in general civil engineering.

**TRAVEL**:
This position requires travel (less than 10%).

**SALARY RANGE**:
$61,725.00 - $79,855.00 annually
