**Description**:

Gaston County Tourism Development, otherwise known as Go Gaston NC, is dedicated to promoting and enhancing the tourism experience in Gaston County. **Examples of Duties**:
The duties listed below are not all of the duties that may be assigned but are those that are considered as essential for an employee to perform.

**Content Creation**:

- Develop engaging and visually appealing multimedia content for digital platforms, including social media, websites, and other online channels.
- Utilize graphic design tools Adobe Suite, video editing software, and other multimedia creation tools.

**Social Media Management**:

- Manage and curate content for various social media platforms.
- Monitor social media trends and incorporate them into content strategy.

**Video Production**:

- Conceptualize, script, shoot, and edit video content for online distribution.
- Ensure high-quality production standards and storytelling in video content.

**Graphic Design**:

- Design and create graphics for digital use, including banners, infographics, and other visual elements.
- Ensure consistency in branding across digital channels.

**Digital Advertising**:

- Assist in the planning and execution of digital advertising campaigns.
- Optimize ad content for maximum engagement and effectiveness.

**Analytics and Reporting**:

- Monitor and analyze the performance of digital media campaigns.
- Provide regular reports with insights and recommendations for improvement.

**Collaboration**:

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, communications, and design, to align digital media efforts with overall strategies.

**Trend Research**:

- Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies in digital media.
- Implement innovative approaches to enhance digital presence.

**Minimum Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Communications, or a related field.
- Proven experience in digital media creation and strategy.
- Proficiency in graphic tools (Adobe Creative Suite), video editing software, & other multimedia creation platforms.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and their algorithms.
- Experience with digital advertising and campaign management.
- Analytical skills to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.

**Additional Information**:
Minimally qualified applicants will start at 25% of the salary range: $26.20/hr.
