Patrols park facilities (e.g. grounds, roads, buildings, adjacent areas, parking lots, etc.) for the purpose of providing administrative visibility, maintaining security, and deterring crime.
- Prepares documentation (e.g. incident and activity reports, etc.) for the purpose of providing written support and/or conveying information.
- Provides traffic and parking control for the purpose of maintaining efficient traffic flow and use of parking lot/s.
- Refers incidents to appropriate site personnel for the purpose of ensuring follow-up in accordance with administrative guidelines.
- Responds to emergency situations (e.g. fights, injuries, incidents, suspicious activities, fire, etc.) for the purpose of addressing immediate safety concerns. Call 911 if needed.
- Assists other personnel for the purpose of supporting them in the completion of their work activities.
- Familiarize with the evacuation plan and/or exits in care of fire or disaster.
- Responsibilities include: working under limited supervision following standardized practices and/or methods; leading, guiding, and/or coordinating others.
- **Security Personnel must complete the Activity Report sheet each time of service. Feel free to note your questions, concerns, frustrations, and observations. They will be read and given due attention. Report must be turned in to the on-duty Manager at the conclusion of Security Personnel's shift.**:

- **IN CASE OF FIRE**: Security Personnel is to check all the restrooms before exiting the building/park to make sure it is clear.
- Things to be on the look-out for:

- Delinquent/wandering customers or employees.
- Customers misusing rental equipment.
- Customers chasing/running in the parking lots.
- Customers or employees in off-limits areas.
- Customers or employees disrespectful of property or people.
- Customers or employees engaged in any unsafe behavior.
- Don't forget to check:

- Unlocked mechanical rooms.
- Any unlocked storage area/room.
- Attic stairway doors.
- Pro-shop door - should ALWAYS be locked, NO EXCEPTIONS, when park is not open to the public.
- Must immediately report urgent concerns or suspicions to the appropriate Supervisor/Manager.
- Periodically check all the buildings, parking, playing areas, offices, rooms/events in session until the park operation ends.
- Periodically check bathrooms until the park operation ends. A check is defined as opening the bathroom door and assessing for appropriate behavior.
- Periodically check briefing rooms until the park operations ends. A check is defined as opening the room door, turning on the lights, and validating that the room is secured or free from any signs of suspicious activities.
- **Refer incidents to appropriate management for the purpose of ensuring follow-up in accordance with administrative guidelines.**

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 per hour
