As a Host and Busser at Chat Genie Café, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests and ensuring that the café is clean, organized, and ready to serve customers. Your main responsibilities will include:
**Host**:

- Greeting guests warmly as they enter the café and seating them at their tables.
- Managing the waitlist during busy periods and estimating wait times for guests.
- Providing menus and answering any questions about menu items or café policies.
- Assisting with coordinating seating arrangements and optimizing table turnover.
- Monitoring the dining area to ensure all guests are attended to and have everything they need.

**Busser**:

- Clearing and resetting tables efficiently to maintain a clean and organized dining area.
- Assisting servers with delivering food and beverages to tables as needed.
- Removing used dishes, glassware, and utensils from tables and taking them to the dishwashing area.
- Refilling water glasses and assisting with other guest requests as needed.
- Assisting with basic cleaning tasks, such as sweeping, mopping, and wiping down surfaces.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in hospitality, customer service, or a related field preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and outgoing demeanor.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift and carry trays of dishes.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Knowledge of coffee and café menu items preferred but not required.
- Enthusiasm for providing exceptional customer service and creating memorable experiences for guests.
- Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure, especially during busy periods.

**How to Apply**:
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
