**Job Summary**

We are looking for an experienced Assembler to join our manufacturing team in building high tech telecommunications equipment. This position requires a person with a demonstrated proficiency in mechanical assembly and hand soldering.

**What you'll do**
- Assemble electronic and mechanical assemblies and sub-assemblies.
- Perform hand soldering operations.
- Read and understand basic electronic schematics, wiring diagrams, and assembly instructions, part lists, routings, work instructions, EO, ECO, BOM.
- Inspect assemblies to ensure conformance to specifications and industry standards.
- Use and operate standard hand and power tool such as screwdrivers, torque tools, wire strippers, crimping tools, and custom fixtures.
- Follow ESD and safety procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.

**What would be useful**
- IPC-610 Certification

**Must Have**
- High school diploma or GED.
- Basic computer skills and the ability to use standard software.
- Two years experience in an electronics manufacturing environment.
- Must be able to read instructions and identify standard SMT components
- Able to identify and touch up solder defects that occur during the SMT operation.
- Ability to sit for long periods of time and lift 35 lbs.
