**Main Duties and Areas of Accountability**

The cleaning of all cutlery, crockery and pans etc at all meal times.
- To keep all equipment, ovens and fridges cleaned on a daily basis.The cleaning of all floor areas daily.To maintain bin/rubbish areas, cleaning them after each collection.To deep clean the kitchen when instructed by the Head/sous chef.To clean the kitchen extractor fans on a weekly basis.To follow company health, safety, hygiene, and fire regulationsRemoval of all rubbish to outside bins at the end of service.Report any faults to equipment or other items to the Head Chef.Maintain correct storage of all crockery and glassware to minimise breakage.Maintain correct storage of all cleaning chemicals to avoid dangerous and hazardous situations.To complete daily / weekly cleaning schedules
- To assist the head chef / sous chef with vegetable / breakfast preparations as instructed
- Any other duties as may be reasonably requested by management.

**Kitchen Porter Uniform**

Baker’s jacket and Trousers - provided by Hotel.
- Safety Shoes - provided by hotel.
- Jewellery - wedding rings only to be worn whilst on duty.
