**COOKIE AMBASSADOR**

We are seeking friendly, outgoing, reliable people to join our growing team of Cookie Ambassadors
Our Cookie Ambassadors are charged with introducing the Pie Crust Cookie to every guest that visits Janie’s Life Changing Baked Goods and is the point person at the front of the store for all guest interactions.

We are a team that loves what they do and are looking for dedicated cookie lovers to join our crew

Please note: Currently we are only Hiring for Nights and Weekends.

**What are my responsibilities as Cookie Ambassador?**
- Promptly greet guests entering the store and take their orders according to procedure
- Help customers understand the menu items, answer clarifying questions
- Give each customer a warm experience and a smile in person & over the phone
- Bake our delicious cookies and treats to perfection, and selling only quality products that meet the standard our customers are looking for.
- Ensure fast, warm, and correct delivery orders are packaged and sent out
- Handle cash and payments accurately and have no shortages or overages.
- Assist BOH with packaging and nationwide shipping as necessary.
- Cleaning, sanitizing, restocking and maintaining the bakery
- Work within a small and mighty team, with flexibility to pitch in where needed to get the job done

**Requirements**:

- MUST HAVE FOOD HANDLERS’S LICENSE OR WILLING TO GET IT ASAP_
- Great communication and organizational skills
- Personal sense of urgency and responsibility
- Must be 18 years or older to be employed
- Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must be able to lift 50lbs and work on your feet for up to 8 hours.
- Attention to detail, especially when performing quality inspections on ingredients and products
- Basic Math and computer skills
- Willingness to work independently or with other team members to solve problems, fulfill orders, and create excellent baked goods
- Energetic and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Be consistent and reliable

Janie’s (formally Janie Bakes) was born out of an act of self-care as Janie was reconstructing her life and trying to stay sober. We have been featured on the Today Show, Bravo, the Food Network, New York Times, CNBC and many more publications

**What Is a Pie Crust Cookie?**

Inspired by Janie’s quest to get the perfectly proportioned bite of pie she invented a cookie where each bite promises the perfect balance. Each bite delivers a flaky crust, a heavenly layer of filling and buttery caramelized streusel. This cookie has won Janie all sorts of awards, made her a Food Network Chopped Sweets Champion and given her a purpose in life.
