Machine Operator

Job Summary:
Böttcher America Corporation, a world’s leader in pressroom solutions and the world’s largest roller manufacture, is looking for a lathe operator for its facility located in Belcamp, Maryland

CURRENT OPENINGS:
Stripping Lathe
- For this position you will manually lift steel cores and strip off the excess rubber on the lathe machine
- 1st shift available - Experienced Lathe Operators preferred

We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our team. As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining a lathe machine to ensure efficient production processes. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and opportunities for career growth.

**Duties**:

- Set up, operate, and monitor machines according to provided instructions
- Load raw materials into the machine and adjust settings as necessary
- Monitor production output and perform quality control checks to ensure products meet specifications
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise during the production process
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to keep them in optimal working condition
- Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals in a timely manner
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience as a Machine Operator or similar role is preferred specifically a Lathe or CNC
- Proficiency in operating Fanuc or similar machinery is highly desirable
- Familiarity with tooling, fabricating, and packaging processes
- Ability to use precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers
- Basic programming skills for machine operation and adjustments
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve minor issues
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products

Pay: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour
