**NewSpring** is a non-profit dedicated to making a positive social and economic impact in the Spring Branch and west area of Houston. The Visual Arts program primarily serves historically underserved students through an after-school arts program.

**1. Curriculum Implementation**:

- Follow the established curriculum provided by Newspring Art Studio.
- Ensure alignment with the T24 model endorsed by Spring Branch ISD.
- Adhere to Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) standards in lesson planning and execution.

**2. Attendance Tracking**:

- Keep meticulous records of attendance at assigned satellite locations.
- Consolidate attendance data from satellite locations and integrate it with Newspring's overall attendance records.

**3. Material Preparation**:

- Organize and prepare all necessary materials and lessons tailored to each location's specific number of students.

**4. Facility Maintenance**:

- Ensure the assigned site is left clean and no paint on the tables, chairs, and floor.

**5. Curriculum Adaptation**:

- Collaborate with the Program Manager, to adapt lessons to suit the unique needs of each satellite location.
- Make necessary adjustments based on the available facilities and individual class requirements.

**6. Administrative Support**:

- Perform administrative duties within the studio when not at satellite locations.

**7. Visual Catalog Maintenance**:

- Document all studio activities through photography.
- Upload images to the studio's website and digitally organize and preserve them where specified by the program manager.

In this multifaceted role, the teacher will contribute to the successful delivery of art education while ensuring that administrative tasks and documentation are efficiently managed. The teacher must be committed to adapting lessons and promoting creativity to ensure students receive a rich and engaging art education experience at NewSpring Art Studio.
