**Duties**:

- Provide excellent customer service
- Engage customers to determine their needs, answer questions and provide information on products that may meet those needs.
- Write up quotations for customers
- Follow-up on quotations
- Special order furniture for customers
- Follow up on special order and repair status for customers
- Work with customers to resolve any issues
- Merchandise product in attractive manner
- Maintain sales floor appearance
- Reset the department for seasonal product
- Assist with product pricing, data entry and inventory management
- Answer telephones
- Keep product clean and department updated
- Other duties as assigned

**Requirements**:

- Ability to provide outstanding customer service
- Desire to develop a high level of product knowledge
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in furniture and outdoor cooking
- Strong organizational skills to manage inventory and merchandise product displays effectively
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members
- Knowledge of retail math concepts for pricing and discounts
- Telephone etiquette
- Familiarity with Point of Sales Systems (POS) or other computer skills
- Verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail
- Organizational skills
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Ability to work as a member of a team
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to lift product up to 25 lbs.

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 - 40 per week
