Store Clerk

**Shift/Schedule**: 8:30AM to 5PM, Monday - Friday

**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**
- Receive and monitor incoming products to retail shop shipped from the Warehouse
- Inventory shipments and present results to management of current and new product received
- Put stock away and restock retail shelves as needed
- Prepare detailed sales and inventory reports by type, size, and quantity
- Maintain organized back-stock area and retail floor promoting a safe and efficient work environment and order accuracy
- Operate hand trucks and pallet jacks to put away and restock shelves and/or move product from storeroom to sales floor
- Develop and maintain positive, cooperative, and team-oriented relationships with co-workers, supervisors, and managers as well as store personnel and salespeople you encounter through the day.
- Greet customers, quote prices, describe/upsell items, answer follow up questions, and assist with product orders
- Other duties may be assigned by management

**Requirements**:

- 21+ years of age
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Ability to lift up-to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Walk, stand, climb ladders, balance, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl daily
- May be required to navigate a reliable personal vehicle between account locations - Mileage reimbursement provided for business-related driving expenses
- : The ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals as well as the ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs

**Desired Qualifications**:

- A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university is preferred, or equivalent experience.
- Prior grocery or retail merchandising experience is highly preferred.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Effective organizational and time management skills
- Ability to develop strong relationships with internal and external customers
- Sales-specific Experience: Knowledge of processes, tools, techniques, and theory behind selling the organization’s products or services.

Pay: $20.00 - $27.00 per hour

Shift:

- Morning shift

Weekly day range:

- Monday to Friday
