**General Statement of Duties**
Oversees and manages a full-service supply operations center, including all warehouse functions (purchasing, receiving, distribution, inventory and financial management), and an Electronic Inventory Management System. Develops and implements both long and short range plans, policies and procedures for purchasing, inventory management, financial management, reporting, budgeting, as well as receiving, storing and shipping functions. Overall supervision of the Warehouse operation.
**Essential Duties**
- Develop long-range plans, policies, procedures and systems for staffing, computerization training and operation of the supply center
- Prepare budget and supporting documentation
- Develop and update, as required, a catalog system for all stocked items
- Manages storage locations.
- Responsible for all components or the warehouse operation.
- Research complaints and/or problems and direct corrective action to be taken if warranted
- Coordinates supply matters with vendors, buyers, central office staff, department heads and school personnel
- Performs other duties as assigned
**Minimum Qualifications**
College graduate, preferably with a Business Administration degree or High School Graduate with equivalent experience in supply operations, a minimum of five years experience in procurement, inventory management and warehousing, two of which have been in a supervisory capacity. Extensive knowledge of inventory management, storage and warehousing, materials handling, space utilization and procurement policies, practices, and procedures including electronic data base administration of a computer based system. Ability to lift up to 100 pounds.
