Responsibilities include setting up, maintaining, and operating machinery to ensure efficient production, filling out hourly reports, inspecting quality mesh, and communicating with supervisors and other team members. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Set up, maintain, and operate machinery to ensure efficient production.
- Fill out hourly reports.
- Inspect quality mesh for conformance to requirements.
- Communicate with supervisors, production control, quality, and other shop personnel for assignments and to resolve machining or quality issues.
- Keep equipment and work areas clean and orderly.
- Perform basic preventive maintenance functions on equipment.
- Adhere to state and federal law, Company Quality Program and procedures, Company policies, and Safety and Environmental Regulations.
- Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

**Requirements and Skills**:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience operating manual machines in a heavy manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of tool holders, cutting tools, fixtures, inserts, and other accessories used on various machines.
- Ability to operate a forklift.
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
- Ability to communicate in English (both written and oral) as it relates to the job.
- Adaptability to a changing work environment.
- Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, geometry, and algebra.
- Able to lift, carry, pull, and push 50 lbs. unassisted.
- Able to squat, stoop, bend at the waist, and turn at the waist to complete functions.
- Occasional climbing.
- Able to wear required PPE such as steel toe boots, gloves, safety glasses, and hard-hat.

**Preferred Skills and Qualifications**:

- Quick troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Keen attention to detail to identify maintenance, product or operations issues

**Salary**: Based on experience

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
