**The Village at Victory Lakes / Lindenhurst, IL**

**The Village at Victory** **Lakes**, a part of Franciscan Ministries, is hiring a **Wound Care Registered Nurse** **(RN)** or **Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)** who monitors each resident with pressure ulcers to ensure treatment and services are provided to promote healing and prevent infection. Must have a current nurse license in the state of IL.

**Hours available in Skilled Nursing**:

- Full Time (5 Days Week / EOW)
- Location: The Village at Victory Lakes, 1055 E Grand Ave, Lindenhurst, IL 60046_

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Wound Care
- Maintains accurate treatment schedule, timely records of treatments administered, progress notes, and evaluations for skilled residents
- Reviews all skin assessment of new residents.
- Conduct weekly meetings with Wound Committee
- Completes rounds with Wound Doctor every week and updates PCC
- Promote and respect the dignity and well-being of each resident and their family.
- Reports all suspected, alleged, or witness physical, sexual, or verbal abuse3 immediately to the DON and Administrator.

**Required skills and qualifications**:

- Graduate from accredited school of nursing, BSN preferred
- Two years of long-term care experience.
- Current nursing license for the state of IL.
- Wound Care Certified, or willing to get within first 3 months of hire
- CPR certified
- Flexible schedule, including availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed
- Must enjoy working with the senior population
