2 years experience with petroleum sampling

**Responsibilities**:

- Climbing and sampling of storage tanks and LPG's
- Utilizing various sampling equipment on the job
- Working with sample compositor systems
- Utilizing Fresh Air SCBA system to sample sour tanks
- Driving to terminals for sample pickup each shift
- Bottle room and sample retain/disposal maintenance
- Ability to work alone as well as in a team
- Practices good interpersonal skill sets daily; including communication, listening, teamwork and leadership
- Takes responsibility for tasks, quality, and accuracy and is accountable for those responsibilities
- Responsible for the safety/health of self and those working with you, promoting health and safety of others, and performing quality work in a safe and environmentally conscientious manner
- Responsible for complying with Laboratory policies and procedures, company policies and procedures, established standards, and governmental regulations (Federal, State and Local)
- Overtime work required at times
- Ability to understand and carry out work direction in a safe manner

Basic/Required Qualifications:

- High School Diploma or GED required
- TWIC card for terminal access required
- Valid Driver's license
- Ability to work alone as well as in a team
- Daily work attendance and punctuality
- Ability to work at heights
- Able to work 8-hour shift schedule (days and nights)
- Legally authorized to work in the United States on a regular full-time basis without restrictions

Willing and able to perform and comply with the following items, with or without accommodation:

- To work overtime
- To lift up to 50 pounds
- To dawn SCBA and half-masks when needed
- To work around chemicals, including acids and bases
- To wear fire retardant clothing and personal protective equipment (such as steel-toed shoes, ear and eye protection)
- To maintain your face daily so that a respirator/face mask can seal properly (some examples include being free of facial hair and/or clean shaven) if applicable
- To work outside in harsh weather conditions
- To work with petroleum products that are under high pressure and heat

Preferred Qualifications
- 2 years experience with petroleum sampling
- Good interpersonal skills including active listening, issue resolution, proactive communication, leadership and teamwork
