Outside Processing Material Handler

**Requirements**:
1. Must wear PPE to accomplish daily tasks (safety glasses, steel toe shoes and earplugs).

2. Forklift experience or willingness to operate a forklift (certification completed onsite).

3. Basic data entry competency.

4. Ability to organize and multi-task.

5. Strong Communication skills.

6. Ability to work independently with little supervision.

**Essential Function**

1. Responsible for daily operations of mobile equipment to support operational needs.

2. Responsible for the processing, scanning, and uploading of data in ERP system.

3. Complies with all EH&S policies and procedures.

4. Performs work accurately and efficiently in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures, Manufacturing Instructions, TS/ISO Procedures and other relevant documents.

5. Shows a commitment to Agrati Production Systems (APS), employee involvement, and continuous improvement.

**Specific Responsibilities Include**:
**FORKLIFT OPERATIONS**:
Unload and load material to and from docked trailers.

Organize and store material in designated storage/staging areas.

**WIP SHIPPING**:
Stage outgoing shipments in bulk staging area.

Generate paperwork (purchase orders/shippers) to ship parts out for further outside processing.

**WASHER & WIRE RECEIVING**:
Receiving incoming material into ERP system (PLEX), tag, and store material in designated storage/staging areas.

**TRANSFER OF MATERIAL to and from Valparaiso location**:
Pull parts, generate paperwork, provide correspondence to all parties, including carrier when receiving material from Valparaiso.

Check material tags sent, move to designated areas, and update location in ERP system.

**RECEIVING of purchased items**:
Receive all invoices and packing slips in ERP system.

Communicate receipt to applicable person/department.

**MATERIAL CERTIFICATIONS ENTRIES**:
Scan material certifications into ERP system. Upload receipts with certifications in ERP system.

**EMPTY WIRE CARRIERS**:
Stack by color and size

Coordinate with Logistics analyst to arrange pickup.

Create general shipper.

**MONTHLY BASE METAL SCRAP REPORT**:
Create General Shippers for Park Forest and Valparaiso locations.

Coordinate with Base Metal representative on purchase invoices for the month.

**PHYSICAL DEMANDS**:
Ability to use mobile equipment devices.

Ability to reach above shoulder, bend, climb, and squat.

Ability to lift/carry up to 35 pounds.

Ability to wear personal protective equipment in areas where applicable and /or dictated by task.

**EDUCATION**:
High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Pay: $17.50 - $18.00 per hour
