Job title: Registered Nurse - Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)

Job Summary:
As a Registered Nurse in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients recovering from anesthesia following surgery. You will assess patients, monitor vital signs, manage pain, and ensure a smooth transition from the operating room to the recovery room.

Responsibilities and Duties:

- Assess and monitor patients' condition post-surgery
- Administer medications and treatments as needed
- Monitor vital signs and manage pain
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare team members
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care

Qualifications and Skills:

- Current RN license
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Previous experience working in a PACU or critical care setting preferred
- Strong patient assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
