Job Overview:
**Responsibilities**:

- Review and process medical claims
- Ensure accurate and timely submission of claims to insurance companies
- Verify patients' insurance coverage
- Communicate with insurance companies to resolve claim issues
- Maintain patient billing records
- Utilize medical billing software and systems effectively

**Experience**:

- Prior experience in medical billing or related field
- Proficiency in ICD-9, ICD-10 coding systems
- Knowledge of DRG (Diagnosis Related Group) coding
- Familiarity with medical terminology and medical records
- Ability to navigate medical billing software efficiently

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week

Schedule:

- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No nights
- No weekends

Work setting:

- Office
