Position Summary
**Responsibilities**:
**Responsibilities**
- In vitro culture of primary skin cells from discarded human skin.
- Generation of 3D skin constructs and other bioengineered tissues.
- Decellularization of skin tissues.
- Assistance in the analysis of the components of the skin using immunofluorescence, ELISA based assays, and other basic cell biology techniques.
- Assistance in the preparation of samples for in vivo grafting studies.
- Organization of data for presentations and publications.
- Detailed record keeping of all lab activities, including the planned experiments.
- Maintenance of tissue culture room and equipment used by the senescence team.
- Ordering, inventory and other duties necessary to the functioning of research projects.
- Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned/requested.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology or physics or a completed animal husbandry program or equivalent in education, training and experience.
- Familiarity with basic laboratory techniques, including sterile cell culture.
Other Requirements
- Experience in decellularization, 3D-printing, and CAD modelling is appreciated.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint are required.
- Experience with photoshop, R, GraphPad is appreciated.
