As a Shipping Clerk, you will be responsible for managing and organizing outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in deliveries. Your duties will include preparing shipping documents, coordinating with carriers, and maintaining shipment records. You will work closely with other departments to fulfill customer orders and resolve any shipping-related issues.

**Responsibilities**:

- Receive and review customer orders for accuracy and completeness.
- Prepare shipping documents such as bills of lading, shipping labels, and packing lists.
- Coordinate with carriers to schedule pickups and deliveries.
- Ensure that shipments comply with relevant regulations and requirements.
- Inspect outgoing shipments to verify contents and ensure they are properly packaged.
- Maintain accurate records of outgoing shipments, including tracking numbers and delivery status.
- Communicate with customers and internal teams to provide updates on shipment status and address any issues or concerns.
- Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment as needed.
- Keep work area clean and organized to ensure safe and efficient operations.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a shipping clerk or similar role.
- Familiarity with shipping and logistics processes and procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in using computer software for data entry and record-keeping.
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules.
- Forklift certification or experience is a plus.
