one of Crain’s “BEST Places to Work in Chicagoland”, is seeking a full time Leasing Consultant at our 308-unit apt. home community at

Arboretum Villages, in Lisle.

The Leasing Consultant will interact/show apartments to all prospective residents to achieve maximum occupancy in a fast-paced environment. The Leasing Consultant will interact with current residents to achieve ultimate resident satisfaction leading to maximum resident retention and comfort. Experience preferred in property management but not mandatory.

Some of the RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Responsible for leasing all available apartments, 1-bedrooms, 1-bedrooms plus den, 2-bedrooms, and 2-bedrooms plus den to prospective residents. Provide information about apartments and the community to meet the defined needs of each prospect.
- Accurately and efficiently process all applicant paperwork within defined timeframes, prepare future resident files including all lease/file paperwork as well as move-in correspondence.
- Knowledgeable in explaining all lease and community policies to new and current residents.
- Maintain/keep current all internet marketing sites.
- Communicate/support marketing efforts of community and provide sufficient feedback, input, and suggestions to Property Manager regarding pricing, promotions, and advertising.
- Always abide by state and federal Fair Housing laws.
- Work with Property Manager to plan/implement all resident functions.
- Complete renewal follow-up and prepare online renewal leases.
- Always maintain high company customer service standards. Respond to all resident requests, process maintenance work orders and work with residents to minimize and resolve all issues and/or customer service needs.
- Complete all YARDI/CRM/LRO/Rent Café processing within company defined guidelines.
- Inspect the market path to all available vacant ready apartments and models daily.
- Review all move-in apartments, within defined timeframes, and place move-in information/gifts in apartment homes.
- Prepare monthly resident newsletter.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Always represent the company in a professional manner.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Customer service/satisfaction driven, self-motivated, able to multi-task, creative and energetic.
- Demonstrate competency with Microsoft Office and property management software (YARDI/CRM/Rent Café).
- Experience in leasing practices, resident relations, and marketing.
- Maintain courteous and continuous communication with residents, applicants, and associates.
- Respond to all questions/issues in a courteous and prompt manner.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
