Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Produce Clerk. As a Produce Clerk, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and freshness of our produce department while providing excellent customer service.

**Duties**:

- Receive, inspect, and stock produce items in an organized manner
- Rotate and replenish produce displays to maintain freshness
- Assist customers in selecting and weighing produce items
- Provide information about the different types of produce and their uses
- Operate cash register for produce purchases
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the produce department
- Assist with inventory control by conducting regular stock counts
- Load and unload produce shipments using a forklift or other equipment
- Use RF scanner to track inventory and ensure accurate stock levels

**Experience**:

- Previous experience in a warehouse or retail sales environment preferred
- Familiarity with operating a cash register and handling cash transactions
- Knowledge of inventory control procedures and practices
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to assist customers in a friendly and helpful manner

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $17.45 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 38 per week
