Job Title: Human Resources Clerk

Department: Human Resources

Reports to: Human Resources Director

Provides administrative HR support, lobby support and data entry.

**SALARY RANGE**

$24.75

**HOURS**
8 per Day / 5 Days per Week

**CATEGORIES OF DUTIES**
- Responsible for daily administrative tasks of the human resources department including filing,

faxing, copying, scanning, and organizing departmental files.
- Gather, organize and file paperwork for employees records.
- Assist with general human resources clerical duties, such as creating personnel files and
- Maintain human resources employee files and documentation, completing data entry tasks and
- Prepare employee files for audits and pull necessary forms.
- Prepare, process, and review a variety of documents, including applicant/employee files, status

change forms/personnel action forms for completeness, accuracy, and submission standards.
- Proofread materials for correct grammar, spelling, and punctuation..
- Process employment verifications
- Process weekly and monthly reports.
- Assist in administering employees benefit program and activities.
- Schedule meetings, sort/distribute mail, and maintain departmental files.
- Maintain department supplies and process invoice for payment.
- Support the recruitment process.
- Maintain DocuHR files to date.
- Operate a variety of office tools, including computers, specialized software, photocopiers, fax

machines, and printers.
- Understand and implement oral and written instructions.
- Communicate updates to superiors orally and in writing.
- Answer routine question, distribute and explain HR forms to employees.
- Maintain the HR front desk/lobby and assist visitors and employees as needed.
- Perform any other task or function as assigned.

**EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE**
- High School diploma or college preferred.
- Excel is plus - running reports, finding reports.
- Tech Savvy: Computer Skills required.
- Excellent customer service skills
- Professional phone etiquette skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to effectively work independently and as a team.
