**_About the Role:_**

We are looking for an experienced leader in continuous process improvement to advance the County’s effective, sustainable government priority area. Your mission is to support departments in making substantive improvements to their operations and services while growing our government’s capacity for continuous process improvement. You will bring measurable, positive change to cross-organizational service delivery to better meet our constituents’ evolving expectations. You will build partnerships, find opportunities for improvement, facilitate workshops, and take initiative to improve results for those we serve.

**_What You Will Do:_**

**Deliver Cross-Departmental Improvement Projects**: Manage improvement projects across departments from sourcing and scoping through delivery and results measurement. This includes coordinating with teams, managing partners, and ensuring projects align with overall organizational objectives while delivering measurable improvements to government operations and constituent experience.

**Build Partnerships**: You will expand our impact by building internal and external partnerships. You will work with senior executives, managers, direct service staff and constituents. You will pro-actively build a pipeline of projects with partners across the organization. You will operate across formal and informal networks to deliver better services.
- You are a do-er. You see the red tape and bureaucracy of government and aim to cut through the noise to get things done. Your humble and empathetic approach builds goodwill and trust along the way. You have a strong bias towards action.
- You are impeccably organized with a solid getting things done methodology and the ability to create order from chaos. You are self-directed and self-reliant. You prioritize your work and allocate time and resources effectively when given broad responsibility.
- You bring a strong working knowledge of innovation methods, including process improvement, agile project management, human-centered design, data analysis, and applied behavioral economics. And you are always looking for new approaches that might help advance innovation.
- You pick up new tools quickly. Whether technology or otherwise, you may not be an expert in every tool but you are an expert in trying new tools. Currently we use Office 365, Miro, Coda, and Trello.
- You have a deep grounding in process and systems improvement and constantly improve the processes and systems you find yourself in while enabling others to do the same.

**Minimum Qualifications**

**Experience**: Three (3) years of professional experience performing data analysis and interpretation, program evaluation, and/or process improvement in an academic, data administration or business data analytics environment.

**Education**: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, Operations Research, Business Administration, Economics, Public Administration, Public Policy, Management, Finance, Statistics, Engineering or related field.

**Equivalency**: (1) An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted. (2) Possession of a graduate degree in one of the above fields may be substituted for one year of the required experience.

**Preferred Criteria**

There are no preferred criteria for this position. Individuals meeting the minimum qualifications will be placed on the eligible list with a rating of qualified.

- Experience designing and facilitating workshops and adult learning courses.
