Tractor with Bush Hog Operator

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Tractor Operator to join our team. As a Tractor Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining machinery and equipment used for Right of Way mowing and maintenance. Must be willing to work as a team and assist other members of the team, as needed. Must follow all safety protocols and wear all company provided PPE. Valid drivers license is required, CDL is a plus. TWIC or ability to obtain it is a plus. When travel is required you will receive a daily per diem for meals and company paid hotel.
*Can expect to travel 4 days per week, for a minimum of 10 weeks per year (per diem and hotel provided).
**Duties**:
- Operate tractors and other equipment to perform Right of Way mowing on various terrain
- Assist groundsmen when necessary
- Perform daily pre-work inspections, routine maintenance and repairs on equipment
- Participate in daily pre-work safety meetings
- Ensure proper operation of all equipment to maximize efficiency, productivity, and safety
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
**Skills**:
- Experience operating and maintaining machinery, including tractors, mowers, chainsaws, etc.
- Proficient in operating heavy equipment safely and efficiently
- Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues
- Ability to make minor repairs and maintain equipment, as needed
- Communicate with supervisor and other crew members
**Requirements**:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record, CDL a plus
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in outdoor environments
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
