Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of food service operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and presentation
- Manage inventory control to ensure adequate supplies and minimize waste
- Lead and supervise a team of kitchen staff, providing guidance and training as needed
- Maintain high standards of food safety and sanitation in accordance with health regulations
- Collaborate with the dietary department to accommodate special dietary needs of residents or guests
- Coordinate and execute banquets or special events, ensuring timely and efficient service
- Monitor food production to maintain quality and consistency in taste and presentation
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in food service management or a similar role within the food industry
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team
- Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary trends
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Creativity and attention to detail in menu planning and presentation
