**THE TEAM**

Modern in experience and timeless in taste, Velvet Buffalo Modern Italian delivers fresh ingredients with a side of rustic charm. Our rotating seasonal menu features thoughtfully crafted dishes made from scratch that are inspired by the many regions of Italy-from house-made pasta and artisan-style bread to sustainably sourced seafood and our own spin on traditional desserts. At Velvet Buffalo, we do classics really well.

**THE PLAYER**

You will serve customers and present great customer service by providing information to help with food and beverage selections, creating and presenting order choices, and maintain a great dining experience by promoting a warm and friendly atmosphere.

**EVERY DAY, YOU WILL**
- Make and serve drinks following established guidelines, procedures and policies regarding beverage and safety controls as prescribed by company standards
- Properly set up bar, including stocking and batching
- Control allocated guest checks by following established check-use procedures and legibly documenting all required information as the customer's order is taken and processed
- Process payments from guests and ensures accuracy of guest check and method of payment in order to safeguard customer and company.
- Completed all prep work prior to bar start time
- During service, maintain all work areas including any side work duties for overall productivity and success
- Create a pleasurable dining experience for all of our guests

**Requirements**:
**YOU WILL BE GREAT AT VELVET BUFFALO** **IF**
- You are 18 years or older
- You have experience in making classic cocktails
- You have basic math skills (must be able to add, subtract, and count change back to customer)
- You have legible handwriting
- You have strong customer service and oral communication skills
- You hold a valid Operator’s License

**YOU ARE A VARSITY PLAYER IF**
- You have previous wine experience and/or certification
- You have one year or more of bartending experience

**YOU MUST ALSO HAVE**

United States Work Authorization (required)
