The Community Impact Manager is responsible for working with parents/guardians, youth and volunteers to help them understand the BBBS mentoring system and the role they play in the mentoring relationship. This position is responsible for communicating program expectations, educating parents/guardians/volunteers/Littles on topics facing families and our community including child safety and improving parental involvement. The Community Impact Manager's role is fluid and often changes depending on the needs of the youth, families and volunteers being served.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Explore, assess and identify available community resources, agencies and services appropriate for meeting the identified needs of BBBSAZ staff, mentors, families and children.
- Develops and facilitates parent engagement programs and activities including orientations, trainings, oversight of the Parent Advisory Council and appreciation events including back to school and adopt a family.
- Provides referrals to families for community resources.
- Collaborate with Community Based Program Manager to expand and define new volunteer opportunities and training within the agency. Collaborate with other appropriate staff to ensure up-to-date volunteer information is on the organization website and any printed materials.
- Develops and delivers large and small group presentations.
- Work directly with our Grants Director to track, implement and provide reports needed to ensure grant compliance which includes accurate and timely program statistics.
- Works with marketing department to update the parent/child handbook, outreach materials, and promote upcoming training/events.
- Works with external partners (i.e. schools, community centers, organizations, etc.) to build relationships for youth referrals and conducts youth outreach as needed.
- Participates in continued professional development to enhance the knowledge and skills needed for effective partnerships.
- Develop, cultivate, sustain and grow volunteer engagement with the agency to form better overall relationships with our volunteers.
- Engage parents/children who are waiting for a mentor in various ways to connect to BBBS (i.e. events, trainings, social media)
- Conducts activities as needed to re-engage parents (i.e. ground rules, surveys, activities)
- Provide direct supervision to a limited number of program staff and/or interns as needed.
- Manage special projects as assigned and often in coordination with the Program Management team.
- Assist with onboarding for new staff members and staff training as needed.
- Assist as needed with activities/events, fundraising and recruitment efforts.

**Education**:(Minimum & preferred educational requirements necessary to perform this job successfully):

- Must possess a minimum of a bachelor’s degree from an Accredited University.

**Related Work Experience**:

- 3-5 years’ experience with youth serving organization or related field.
- Demonstrated leadership skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently.

**Skills and Knowledge**:
