Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Legal Assistant. As a Legal Assistant, you will provide administrative support to our legal team and assist with various tasks related to legal documentation and research.

**Duties**:

- Organize and maintain legal files and documents
- Conduct legal research and gather relevant information
- Assist with drafting legal documents, such as contracts and briefs
- Prepare correspondence and memos for attorneys
- Schedule appointments and manage attorney calendars
- Transcribe dictations and prepare accurate meeting minutes
- Assist with document management systems, such as iManage or Westlaw
- Proofread legal documents for accuracy and completeness
- Perform general clerical duties, including data entry and filing

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Legal Assistant or similar role
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficient in data entry and document management systems
- Excellent proofreading skills with attention to detail
- Familiarity with legal drafting and terminology
- Knowledge of law office procedures and protocols

Note: All positions at our company are paid, including internship positions.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 28 per week
