Be yourself and feel unique as you belong within our culture of care, safety and inclusion.- Reporting to and in collaboration with the Manufacturing Manager, you'll provide support to the Manufacturing Manager by controlling and coordinating the production operations within specific area or section of a plant to ensure that intermediate or finished flavor/fragrances products are delivered according to established production specifications, schedules and quality standards.**In this exciting job, you'll work with**:

- **Production Management**
- Responsible for the performance of the assigned production area in order to meet the production schedules and targets.
- Control inventory to ensure the availability of materials required for the operation.
- Monitor the volume and quality of output and adjust tasks, timing, equipment set-up, so that production specifications aremet and resources are used efficiently.
- Ensure the protection of plant assets and the implementation of internal control regulations.
- Prepare production reports so that performance problems can be identified and resolved.
- **Production Processes**
- Define manufacturing processes and procedures for a specific area in line with safety, EHS standards andefficiency/productivity requirements.
- Propose ideas for the continuous improvement program in the area.
- Take care on necessary capacity improvements to fulfill the demand evolution and prevent new asset investments.
- Owner of Lean program roll out and relevant Team Board/meetings.
- **People Management**
- Supervise staff to ensure that all production tasks are performed, and all machines and equipment operated, safely.
- Document performance and provide on-going feedback (eg, conducting mid-year and end-year reviews), addressing behavior and job performance issues, recommending hiring, firing and annual salary increases.
- Train new workers in the organization’s operating procedures and standards.

**You?**
- Vocational diploma in Technical Engineering, Supply Chain or related discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in production with exposure to quality and/or materials process management.
- 2+ years of progressive experience in people management.
- SAP experience required.
