**Responsibilities**:

- Maintain excellent external and internal customer service
- Assist with all aspects of the Purchasing department:
Review contracts

Place vendor orders

Maintain recordkeeping system for the department

RMAs
- Assist with data entry for the Accounting department
- Ensure information flows in a timely and accurate manner:
Track orders from placement to delivery

Maintain status accurately within the system
- Perform other duties as assigned

**Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**:

- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Ability to learn purchasing procedures and policies
- Ability to type 40 words per minute
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity with fundamental bookkeeping procedures
- Proficiency in mathematics and the ability to spot numerical errors
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Ability to manage time and efficiently organize work
- Strong attention to detail

**Education and Experience**:

- High school diploma or equivalent required
- At least two years of office experience preferred
- Prior experience as an Accounting Assistant or Accounting Clerk preferred

**Physical Requirements**:

- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
