Job Summary:
The Logistics Coordinator will oversee and manage various facets of our day-to-day operations, including purchasing, warehouse, customer service, and scheduling administration. This pivotal role ensures seamless coordination to guarantee timely availability of materials for field technicians while also maintaining inventory, warehouse organization, and other essential functions critical to our daily operations. Additionally, the Logistics Coordinator will create and maintain the schedules for field employees and roofing projects, while also handling all customer-related tasks and providing vital office support integral to the company's operational efficiency.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Ensures timely shipment of roofing materials to job sites in coordination with work schedules
- Monitors pricing, including vendor price increases, and conducts negotiations as necessary to ensure the company procures roofing materials at the lowest cost possible, informing the leadership team accordingly
- Updates roofing inventory spreadsheets and verifies the accuracy of orders
- Verifies receipt of items ordered, investigates shortages, mis-ships, and canceled orders
- Orders and maintains proper roofing inventory levels in the warehouse
- Maintains warehouse organized and accounts for all roofing materials
- Distributes roofing materials daily to field team members and tracks roofing supplies closely
- Tracks, registers, and processes warranties for purchased roofing materials
- Pulling of City, County and State permits
- Creates and communicates daily field schedules to all necessary staff members.
- Performs updates and changes to the schedule of all current and upcoming jobs.
- Provides administrative assistance to management in scheduling roofing phases and daily reports.
- Receives incoming production schedules from the superintendent to ensure that each job is scheduled appropriately.
- Verifies that the clients and field contacts have confirmed notification of all scheduling updates via all platforms provided to the employee.
- Provides excellent customer service experience while assisting with incoming calls and main assigned scheduling calls.
- Answer, screen multiple lines, and forward incoming calls to the correct department.
- Enter work orders or purchase orders in the company CRM system via all company request avenues.
- Verify inspections and assign estimators for processing.
- Provide general support to office personnel and customers as needed.
- All other job duties as assigned.

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:

- Ability to resolve vendor, client, and scheduling issues while maintaining a professional and calm demeanor.
- Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks, manage workload efficiently, handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to effectively organize and prioritize tasks, projects, and resources to ensure efficient operations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey information to internal teams, external stakeholders, and vendors.
- Proficient in utilizing Excel, Microsoft Office Suite, or similar software programs for effective computer-based tasks.
- Effective willingness to collaborate with cross-functional teams and departments to coordinate efforts and achieve common goals.
- Good driving record, experience with driving large transportation vehicles
- Proficient math skills to ensure deliveries are accurate.
- Bilingual: Spanish is required

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

- General knowledge of construction or roofing materials and installation preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent experience preferred
- 2 years of experience in Purchasing and Warehouse
- 2 years of experience in Scheduling
- 1 year of Customer Service experience
- Current Forklift certification preferred
- QuickBooks Time Scheduling experience is a plus
- HOA experience is a plus

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Comfortable driving to various job sites or destinations as required.
- Able to climb, stand, walk, kneel, lift, push, pull and crouch for extended periods
- Must be able to lift at a minimum 30 pounds at times.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

- Must have reliable transportation

Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
