Job Description:
The Senior Vice President, Leasing will play a pivotal role within the Lillibridge Property Management & Leasing (PML) and Ventas Outpatient Medical (OM) teams, contributing significantly to the growth of NOI, the enhancement of total shareholder return, and the overall success of the organization.

This pivotal role within PML and OM offers an exceptional opportunity for leadership and the ability to make a significant impact on the organization's success.

ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS:

- In conjunction with the EVP, PML and the Ventas Asset Management team, set leasing strategy and ensure alignment of activities with the overall business strategy
- Collaborate with the Asset Management team on the pricing approvals processes to develop effective pricing and negotiation strategies
- Assess talent needs and build a high-performing team of Leasing, Marketing, and support professionals
- Provide guidance to leasing team members during key negotiations and collaborate closely with Ventas Asset Management on approvals and execution.
- Manage property marketing to drive new leads and prospects
- Create, develop and cultivate meaningful relationships with brokers, tenants, hospital partners, and other relevant parties
- Manage performance of third-party brokers engaged to secure both medical and non-medical tenants for the OM portfolio
- Lead process of collecting and validating market data including rental rates and occupancies of competitive property sets for each property in the portfolio
- Develop a culture that encourages, creates, rewards and promotes high-quality results and market-leading pricing practices
- Determine and lead development of training for all levels of the property leasing team
- Work with Asset Management and PML teams to assure the compilation, accuracy and completeness of all leasing data for annual budgets, reports and projections to ensure successful financial performance
- Refine and/or maintain leasing processes (building remeasure, credit policy, deal pipeline tool, digital and all forms of property marketing, etc.)
- Prepare regular reports to Ventas and Lillibridge senior management regarding new leasing pipeline and renewal activity
- Perform in-depth financial analysis as needed
- Leverage existing technology and infrastructure to support company-wide knowledge sharing of best practices and solutions

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Demonstrated track record of at least ten years of successful leasing and / or leasing performance management
- Experience leasing a portfolio with minimum size of five million square feet of office space with a strong preference for medical office or healthcare
- Proven deal-making skills and expertise in complex, high value negotiations
- Experience recruiting, developing and managing a high-performing team of leasing professionals
- Demonstrated ability to provide leadership, vision and direction to a geographically distributed group while operating in a centralized management structure
- Experience setting direction and leading implementation of national leasing efforts
- Ability to collaborate with multiple senior stakeholders to create optimal leasing approaches for the company
- Exceptional communication, collaboration and consensus building skills to champion change
- Travel estimated at 35-65%
- Excellent computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Yardi, VTS and other leasing specific software
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field. MBA strongly desired
