Gavin Foundation is a non-profit multi-service agency providing comprehensive, community
- based substance abuse education, prevention, treatment and recovery support services throughout Greater Boston. Our vast array of services include: outpatient, school based services, criminal justice, reentry programs, adolescent recovery homes, adult recovery homes and a recovery support center.

**SUMMARY OF POSITION**

Work with a team in our ATS/CSS comprised of medical professionals, clinicians and case managers to provide support, counseling and community referrals to individuals with substance use and co-occurring disorders. This will include facilitating individual and group counseling sessions and providing aftercare case management planning services.

**PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Conduct bio-psychosocial assessment
- Complete intake paperwork familiarity with MA DPH EIM/ESM preferred
- Facilitating psycho-education groups
- Use of MI based counseling
- Knowledge of the 12 Steps of Recovery
- Formulate treatment plan and provide timely documentation
- Attend weekly treatment team supervision & biweekly individual supervision
- Provide crisis intervention when necessary

**REQUIREMENTS**
- Masters, Bachelor's, CADC, LADC I or II
- Knowledge of the ASAM criteria
- Experience with utilization review for insurance payment
- Must have effective speaking and writing skills
- Three years in the field of alcoholism and substance abuse
- Familiarity with Clinic Management Software a Plus
- Basic Computer Skills (MS Office) & the Desire/Ability to Learn New Software
