Overview:
The purpose of the Speech Analytics Analyst position is to perform analysis on business policies, processes, and performance, primarily through the use of speech analytics software. They will use the analysis to drive better business decisions through process improvements.

**Responsibilities**:
**Essential Duties**:

- Analyzing and interpreting spoken language data to extract valuable insights.
- Collect, organize, and analyze data to solve business problems and drive better decisions through ad-hoc and routine analysis.
- Developing and implementing speech analytics analysis to improve accuracy and efficiency.
- Providing regular reports and presentations on key findings and trends to relevant stakeholders.
- Be able to quantify collected information and translate it into opportunities.
- Develop complex programming to extract and manipulate vast internal data and third-party vendor data.
- Collaborating with other team members to integrate speech analytics findings into broader data science initiatives.
- Summarize analysis findings through clear, concise documentation and present to various levels at the Company.
- Work with IT to enhance data structures through defining requirements and testing.
- Translate high level business goals into the tasks and technical specifications needed to accomplish goals.
- Responsible for properly using, maintaining, and returning upon request any company equipment and assets issued by Salelytics.

**Mental and Physical Requirements**:

- This position will be exposed mainly to an indoor office environment and will be expected to work near or around computers.
- The nature of the work in this position is sedentary and the incumbent will be sitting most of the time.
- Essential physical functions include typing, grasping, and repetitive motions to utilize general computer software/hardware throughout the workday.

Qualifications:
**Education**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Business Analytics, Finance, or related field preferred.

**Experience**:

- Strong background in data analytics and language technology.
- 2+ years’ experience using speech analytics software (CallMiner, Nice, Verint, Tethr, etc.)
- 2+ years’ experience in an academic or professional setting using one or more of the following analytical tools SAS, SQL, R or Python required.
- Experience with large data manipulation and analysis.
- Experience running and creating reports in an analytical tool (Tableau)
