Patient Service Representative

Job Summary:
**Responsibilities**:
- Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Schedule patient appointments efficiently using the designated system
- Verify insurance information and assist with insurance claims processing
- Maintain patient records accurately and ensure confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and direct calls to the appropriate personnel
- Provide administrative support such as filing, faxing, and data entry
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow and excellent service delivery
**Requirements**:
- Proficiency in Eaglesoft or similar dental software is preferred
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical terminology
- Experience in medical scheduling or receptionist duties
- Familiarity with emergency room (ER) procedures is a plus
- Strong background in dental or medical administrative support
- Ability to operate multi-line phone systems effectively
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
