**JOB PURPOSE**

**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**
- ** Team Leadership**:
- Supervise and lead a team of car wash and detail technicians.
- Provide training to new team members and ensure ongoing skill development.
- Delegate tasks effectively to maximize productivity and efficiency.
- Foster a positive and collaborative team environment.
- **Quality Control**:
- Inspect vehicles before and after detailing to ensure quality standards are met.
- Implement and enforce best practices for car washing, detailing, and customer service.
- Conduct regular quality checks to maintain consistent service excellence.
- **Customer Service**:
- Interact with customers to understand their specific detailing needs.
- Address customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback in a professional manner.
- Strive to exceed customer expectations and enhance overall satisfaction.
- **Equipment Maintenance**:
- Oversee the maintenance and repair of detailing equipment.
- Ensure that all tools and machinery are in proper working condition.
- Identify and recommend new equipment or upgrades as needed.
- **Inventory Management**:
- Manage and track detailing supplies and inventory.
- Place orders for replenishment and maintain optimal stock levels.
- Monitor expenses and work towards cost-effective solutions.

**TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS**
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Knowledge of various car detailing products, tools, and techniques.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Leadership and team-building skills with a focus on fostering a positive work environment preferred
- Detail-oriented mindset and commitment to delivering high-quality services.

**EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION/YEARS OF EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS**
- Proven experience in car detailing with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership role.
- Basic computer and math skills
- Planning, organizational, problem solving and people skills
- Must have reliable transportation and a valid drivers license
- Flexibility in scheduling which may include nights weekends and holidays

**WORKING CONDITIONS**

This job will involve occasional exposure to some disagreeable elements such as hot and cold temperatures, loud noises, dust/dirt and exhaust fumes. Must be able to work in extreme conditions such as hot and cold weather.

**PHYSICAL DEMANDS**

- Must be able to stand on hard surfaces for extended periods;
- Must be able to lift and move inventory items and other work-related items (up to 50 pounds);
- Must be able to work at a rapid pace for long periods;
- Must be able to push, pull, bend at the knees and waist, lift, twist body at the waist, raise and hold arms overhead, turn head-neck-shoulders as needed, climb steps, grasp and hold tools and other items with hands, all of this for either extended periods of time or many times throughout the day.
