Overview:
We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Correctional Officers. As a Correctional Officer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining safety and security within our correctional facility. This is a challenging and rewarding position that requires strong communication skills, the ability to handle conflict, and a commitment to upholding the law.

**Responsibilities**:

- Maintain security and control within the correctional facility
- Conduct regular patrols and inspections to ensure the safety of staff and inmates
- Monitor inmate activities and behavior, intervening as necessary to prevent disturbances or rule violations
- Conduct searches of inmates, cells, and common areas for contraband
- Enforce facility rules and regulations, ensuring compliance from inmates
- Respond to emergencies, including medical situations, fights, or fires
- Prepare written reports on incidents, accidents, or disciplinary actions
- Operate CCTV systems to monitor inmate activities

**Experience**:

- Previous experience in law enforcement or a related field is preferred
- CPR and First Aid certification is required
- Strong conflict management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to remain calm and composed in high-stress situations
- Familiarity with report writing procedures
- Knowledge of correctional policies and procedures is a plus

**Requirements**:

- Must be at least 18 years old (21 years old for some positions)
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required (some positions may require additional education)
- Must pass a thorough background check and drug screening
- Must possess a valid driver's license
