**About us**

Baker Ranch Animal Hospital is a growing modern fully equipped animal hospital that provides care to the Lake Forest and surrounding areas. We are a privately owned (NOT CORPORATE) practice and have been open for 5 years. We have a small team with a preventative care focus and ensure that pet owners feel involved in the decisions on the care of their dogs and cats. We love what we do, have fun, and support each other.

We are seeking a new team member who greats our patients and clients in a cheerful manner with strong customer service and practical skills. We have a Starbucks within our plaza and plenty of eateries within our area and for a lunch break walk there are hiking trails in close proximity.

We offer the highest quality of medical and surgical care to dogs and cats only.

We do not offer any Grooming or Boarding services.

We practice a Fear-Free, low stress way of handling which benefits both employees and patients.

We will not tolerate exclusion or drama, nor disrespect from clients.

General Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Answering Phone calls
- Documenting Communications from clients
- Calling clients from the previous day for follow ups
- Calling on lab results that do not need doctor involvement
- Greeting our clients and patients
- General cleaning
- Confirmation of appointment calls
- Prepping charts (We are mostly all computer but print out a patient sheet and pre-estimates)
- Helping sign patients up on wellness plans
- Filling prescriptions
- Scheduling triaging

**Job Type**:

- Part time
- Saturdays are half days
- Currently Closed on Sundays and Saturdays for the summer

Part time benefits:

- 10hr shifts weekly with 0.5hr-1hr lunches

**Experience**:

- 1 yr of veterinary experience (preferred)
- Great Communication skills
- Detail Orientated and Data Entry proficiency
