**Position Summary**

**Assistant DSD Excellence responsibilities**:

- Work cross-functionally with Brand teams supporting and influencing proper guidelines of DSDE merchandising standards which include defining, communicating, and executing merchandising through on-line and verbal communication methods.
- Work with our Operational Sales Center Leaders with point-of-sale initiatives through POPshop (on-line ordering tool.)
- Communicate world-class standards and best practices to your Brand partners which will enable the growth of frontline business partners and sales leaders to achieve world-class display merchandising at store level.
- Actively participate and collaborate with Team members to share best practices and ideas which will maximize personal improvement and work towards achieving collective goals.

**Key Job Responsibilities**:

- **Brand Team Support**
- As a steward of BBU brands, collaborate with your Brand partners on promotional project and display initiatives at a regular cadence and post accordingly to POPshop.
- Become an expert in best-in-class display and merchandising practices with the ability to communicate and coach best practices to your Brand partners.
- Bakery product sample request facilitation for Sales and Marketing teams.
- ** Sales Operations Support**
- Create, and post promotional projects and provide an ordering window for Operational Sales Leaders to order merchandising point-of-sale material.
- Work directly with DSDE Managers administering POPshop’s database.
- Work directly with our freight partners facilitating communication when needed.
- ** POPshop On-line POS ordering System**
- Work directly with the Insite team (POPshop developers) on key objectives that will facilitate the ordering and receiving of merchandising material for the front-line in an easy-to-use format.
- Retrieve and submit POPshop projects to vendors following POPshop purchase ordering procedures.
- Report KPI’s utilizing reporting functionality on POPShop for point-of-sale quantities and costs across all Business Units.
- **Third Party Sites**
- Oversee third-party point-of-sale sites for accuracy and integrity.

**Position Requirements**:
**Education and Work History**:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management or Marketing. A combination of education, training and experience that results in demonstrated competency to perform the work may be substituted.
- 1-3 years of related experience in operations or sales.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as the ability to effectively negotiate and influence others.
- Excellent organizational and planning skills.
- Demonstrated problem solving ability, including strong conceptual and analytical skills and ability to turn findings into executable plans.
- Computer skills and proficiency, specifically PowerPoint, Excel, and Word is required.
