**PC Refresh & IT Support **Technician

**Location: Central New Jersey**

**Job Type**:Contract (6 months to 12 months)

- Good communication skills both written and verbal. (English)

- Strong work-ethic, polite, well mannered, willing to learn, diligent, responsible, energetic and able to take direction.
- Motived to learn and execute our model which has demonstrated proven success in the IT sector for nearly 2 decades.
- Have solid documentation and presentation skills for customer interfacing and reporting needs
- Able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Possess an understanding of computer peripherals (i.e. monitor, CPU / desktop / tower, laptop, dock and printer)
- Possess an understating of PC’s, Mac Workstations, laptops, and MacBook’s
- Familiar with safely working with basic hand-tools such as allen-keys, pliers and a power-screwdriver / drill.
- Able to provide desk-side Level-1 support to users after a move / relocation event. Able to map-printers, arrange desktop icons and communicate pending issues to the appropriate party for escalation.

**Job Description/Responsibilities**:
Technician will be responsible for the following:

- Scheduling of device refreshes & creation of ticket with internal ticketing system
- Configuration of the device based on audit or preexisting equipment
- Deployment of new device to end user inducing back up and transfer of end user data/files
- Installation and testing of new device
- Support of device after installation
- Diagnose software and hardware errors and compatibility issues to provide post deployment support when needed
- Provide a very high level of customer service while meeting agreed to weekly build and deployment targets while working in a dynamic, complex environment.
- Adheres to Desktop and End User Computing processes, procedures, and policies
- Provides customer training and knowledge documentation.
- Availability and flexibility to work outside standard 8-5 business when required

**Compensation**
- $20-24 per/hour Based upon experience and skillset

**Job Types**: Contract, Full-time

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift with a 1 hour unpaid lunch
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime (When Required)

**Education**:

- Associate (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Desktop support: 2 years (required)
- Windows: 2 years (required)
