**Job Description**:
Under supervision, operates, services and repairs the varied components of the irrigation systems. Performs other tasks as required.

**Responsibilities**:

- Operates, maintains and repairs the irrigation systems, including leaks in lines, valves and sprinkler heads, and satellite controllers.
- Periodically inspects all components of the irrigation system to insure they are operating properly.
- Operates and maintains the well and pump stations.
- Traps gophers that create mounds and holes in the turf and bunkers
- Putting greens and any other areas of turf that may need water.
- Assists with the regular golf course maintenance as required and as time allows.
- Must recognize disease, insect, or other damage to the turf areas and report this to the supervisor.

Qualifications:

- No prior experience or training required.
- Working knowledge of a manual and bubbler irrigation system, as well as flood irrigation, would be good, though not essential.
- Golf course maintenance experience would be helpful.

**Pay Rate: $21.80/hr**
