Structural Fitters

Description:
The **Structural Fitter **assembles structural framework, components, materials, and other steel components that meets recognized standards and customer expectations by maintaining quality procedures.

**Fundamental Functions**:

- Lay out, position, align and fit together fabricated parts of structural metal products according to blueprint and layout specifications.
- Most work on: GMAW (MIG) and FACW (Flux Core),
- Maintain a positive work atmosphere by functioning and communicating in an effective manner with customers, coworkers, clients, and supervisors.
- Perform daily cleaning and maintenance of area.
- Work in a safe and conscientious manner.
- Identify potential hazards and make necessary corrections.

**Requirements**:

- Must own hand tools.
- Regular, reliable, and punctual attendance with the ability to work overtime and weekends.
- Possess strong sense of urgency.
- Works independently and/or as a cooperative team player.
- Willingly takes direction from supervisory and lead personnel.
- Adhere to quality procedures and demonstrates strong safety awareness and prevention.
- Eligibility for employment is contingent upon passing a drug screening
