Overview:
**Duties**:

- Animal Clinic of Buena is once again open and growing and needs trained staff
- Technician will often work independently to offer quality pet care
- Assist veterinarians in routine examinations and surgical procedures
- Perform laboratory tests such as urinalysis and blood counts
- Administer medications and vaccines under the direction of a veterinarian
- Provide post-operative care and monitor recovery of animals
- Maintain accurate records of patient treatments and progress
- Educate pet owners on proper animal care and nutrition

**Requirements**:

- Certification or Associate Degree in Veterinary Technology
- Proficiency in animal husbandry, handling, and restraint techniques
- Knowledge of veterinary terminology, animal anatomy, physiology, and care
- Experience in dog training or veterinary critical care is a plus

Pay: $21.00 - $30.00 per hour

**Experience**:

- Veterinary experience: 3 years (preferred)
