HMS Motorsport is the leading motorsport safety supplier, providing safety equipment to professional, amateur, and beginning drivers. HMS sells only the finest equipment and prides itself on firsthand experience with our products.
We are the exclusive North American Importer for Schroth Racing and Takata Racing (harness belts & frontal head restraints), Schuberth Helmets, Walero Base layers, RaceSense Tyre Pressure monitoring systems, and the East Coast Importer for Cobra Seats from the UK. We are also the owner and manufacturer of Racecom by HMS - a bespoke racing communications company with gear built in the USA backed by our industry-leading warranty program.
HMS has over 200 dealers across North America. Our Mooresville, NC facility features a 2,200 square foot showroom, while our Danvers MA showroom totals about 1,800 square feet. We have 16 experienced employees who are racers, driving instructors, and motorsports enthusiasts. HMS provides professional-level services directly to 95% of the NASCAR Sprint Cup Teams and nearly every IndyCar team. We can customize harness belts and helmets.
Beyond the day-to-day retail duties, this role also requires the associate to act as a wholesale account manager, helping assist wholesale dealers within our network. This involves maintaining and growing relationships with other businesses within the Industry, identifying potential future customers, presenting our products and services, and processing purchase orders. You’ll be assigned to educate existing dealers about key product lines with our current catalog while providing exceptional customer service. HMS’s wholesale network is constantly growing, and this associate will be assigned to educate potential dealers with technical information about our brands and safety equipment.
**Job Tasks**:
- Gain a strong understanding of product offerings, including technical safety information.
- Service dealers within our wholesale network by processing orders, educating them on new product lines and effectively communicating product benefits.
- Expand the existing dealer network by identifying potential dealers and providing them with technical information about our brands and safety equipment.
- Work a 4-hour retail shift 1-2 Saturdays a month. A complimentary weekday off is provided for each Saturday shift, eligible to be redeemed within one month.

**Compensation**:
- Salary: $45,000-$50,000 (plus additional bonus opportunities)
- Fully paid individual Health Insurance premium including vision. Dental coverage is available at an additional charge.
- 15 paid days off (including sick days), plus 7 paid holidays off
- 401K plan with a 3% employee match after one year of employment
Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
