Online Estate Auction Photographer

We are seeking an organized self-starter and detail-oriented individual to join the Provenance Auctions team as an Online Estate Auction Photographer. Experience with auction or product photography and a basic knowledge of selling items online preferred. You will be required to work on location at private residences to photograph and document items to be listed in online auctions. Please provide samples of work with all inquiries.

**Responsibilities**:

- Capture high-quality photographs of auction items, ensuring accurate representation and attention to detail.
- Edit images as needed and select the highest quality shots to ensure a compelling and true representation of items for auction.
- Provide accurate item descriptions for each item including dimensions, and any other relevant information.
- Collaborate with the Provenance team to correct any inaccuracies in photos and/or descriptions.

**Requirements**:

- Proficiency in using a DSLR camera, iPhone, and/or iPad.
- Working knowledge of photo editing software (Photoshop or similar), Microsoft Word, and Dropbox.
- Experience with selling on eBay or other selling platforms a big plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to handle estate property responsibly and respectfully.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Capability to lift or move moderately heavy items (50lbs+) if necessary.
- A reliable vehicle and able to travel to locations within Connecticut (mostly Fairfield County) and sometimes Westchester County.
- Valid Driver’s License required.
- Background check.

This is a part-time, contractor (1099) position with a project-based schedule and hours ranging from 20 to 30 hours per month. Contractors are responsible for their own taxes and benefits. As a part-time contractor, you will have the opportunity to showcase your skills with the potential for long-term growth within our company.

Pay: $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 - 8 per week
